A total of 3,724 proposals submitted over the past five years were reviewed by the 11th Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the first session of the 12th CPPCC Inner Mongolia Committee reported on Jan 23.
Standing members of the 11th CPPCC Inner Mongolia Committee worked on improving the quantity and quality of submitted proposals and undertook their duty to supervise the implementation of governmental policies.
Nearly 200 group discussions have reportedly been organized among the former CPPCC committee members, with 1,500 participating in each meeting.
