Children in Liqun East Zone will have more choices once they reach school age, as another four schools will be built in 2018.
The four schools are respectively Songnan Primary School, the Second Qunli Shiyan Primary School, Boya School and Rongjianglu Primary School. In total, the schools are expected to provide school places for around 11,000 children.
Liqun East Zone in Daoli district of Harbin has finished building 80 percent of its residential communities. A total of five schools have opened so far.
The newly-built schools will help the zone balance the distribution of education resources and improve the quality of education,” said an official from the education bureau of Daoli district.
