Summit paves way for development of intelligent industry

Approximately 1,200 government officials, industry leaders, and experts attended the First Inner Mongolia (Helingeer New District) Intelligent Industry Summit in 2018, which opened in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, on Jan 16, according to local media.

Jointly hosted by the people’s government of Hohhot, the Development and Reform Committee of Inner Mongolia, and the Science and Technology Department of Inner Mongolia, the summit featured an opening ceremony and eight themed activities discussing the development of emerging technologies. Among the technologies discussed were big data, cloud computing, internet of things, and artificial intelligence.
