The summit provided a discussion platform for the development of intelligent industry in Helingeer New District through the integration of real economy with big data, internet, and artificial intelligence.
Situated in the center of the Hohhot metro area, the district is well-positioned for the development of big data and cloud computing, with its ample supply of technical professionals, large energy stores, low electricity costs, and developed road infrastructure.
An IDC data center co-established by China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom recently began construction in the district. When completed, it will be the largest data center of its kind in the nation.
The district has also partnered with Tsinghua University to establish an institute which focuses on the development of big data.
Moving forward, the district will continue to develop its intelligent industry through cloud computing and big data bases, laboratories, and business incubators.
