Jiuyuan district in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, added three more city-level technology demonstration bases, according to a Jan 15 Baotou Daily report.
The three cooperatives, respectively Tianhe Cooperative, Shuncang Cooperative and Xinbuxianting Cooperative, successfully qualified earlier this month.
Tianhe Cooperative, featuring crop farming, breeding and tourism, receives more than 40,000 tourists annually. The total revenues of the crop farming industry amounted to 7 million yuan ($1.09 million), revenues of the breeding industry totaled 3 million yuan and that of tourism amounted to 1 million yuan.
Shuncang Cooperative features vegetable planting and annual revenues exceeded 2.9 million yuan.
Xinbuxianting Cooperative receives around 100,000 tourists each year with total revenues hitting 3.83 million yuan.
