Money and goods amounting to some 80,000 yuan ($12,000) were given to 120 needy families during an activity held in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Jan 10, reports Baotou Daily.
The activity, hosted by Baotou Charity Federation, offered a grant of 1,000 yuan per family to 20 needy families in the city. Bone collagen peptide was also distributed to 100 families in the city with family members suffering from bone diseases and a monthly income of less than 1,000 yuan.
