The 13th Zhanjiang Sports Meeting kicked off at the Zhanjiang Sports Center on July 21, with 2,636 local athletes competing in 18 categories.
The quadrennial event is an important window for showcasing the city's level of competitive sports and encouraging its athlete spirit.
