Baotou, in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, now boasts 10 national 4A-level scenic spots with two sites –– in Darhan Muminggan Joint Banner –– newly added to the list, according to a Dec 30 Baotou Daily report.
The number of national 3A-level scenic spots grew to 10, with 16 2A-level scenic spots.
Baotou city has been making big strides in boosting development of its tourism industry by upgrading facilities and infrastructure at the city’s scenic spots, and enhancing their management.
