Ripe Pomegranate, a historical musical performed by Ulanmuchi from Otog Front Banner, came to Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Dec 28.
The musical mainly tells a story that young cadres from ethnic groups including Mongolian, Manchu and Tibetan, have exerted their efforts to serve the people during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45). The pomegranate tree planted by these young cadres symbolizes the heroic deeds they have demonstrated during the war period.
