Internet conference opens in Baotou

More than 400 experts and business representatives from the IT industry attended the second Baotou Internet Conference which opened on Dec 26 in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, according to Baotou Daily.

Co-hosted by the publicity department of Baotou and the people’s government of Shiguai district, the internet conference invited experts and industry leaders to deliver themed lectures on the sharing economy and big data.

Wu Yun, a member of the standing committee of Baotou municipal Party committee, addressed the event and called for more efforts in developing the big data industry and smart city technologies.
