The first China Wuxi Intellectual Legal Service Development Conference was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu province on Dec 18.
Sponsored by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Justice and the Wuxi Municipal Government, the conference was carried out under the theme of "legal services entering the new era of wisdom", and gathered over 400 experts, legal figures and officials from Shanghai, Changchun, Xi'an and Zhejiang province.
Against a background of modern technology, the participants discussed the form, delivery mechanisms and future of merging legal services with the Internet, big data and artificial intelligence technology.
Intellectual legal services have been carried out in Shanghai and Jiangsu province, contributing to the innovation and reform of traditional legal service products and modes.
Li Xiaomin, Party secretary of Wuxi, attended the conference and said, "The development of the city's socialization, legalization, intelligence and specialization can't do without the intelligence and modernization of the legal service."
"As the highland of IoT development, Wuxi has launched various products to enhance the accuracy, immediacy, interactivity, and sustainability of legal services. The Wuxi government will continue to help the construction of intellectual legal services in Wuxi," Li added.

During the conference, a robot named "Xiao Si" was introduced. Xiao Si is able to interact by text or voice to provide users with online and offline intelligent legal consulting and guidance services.
The Jiangsu provincial intellectual legal service terminal made by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Justice and the Ilvdo Internet Legal Service Platform was also unveiled at the conference.
