HNA Technology, a subsidiary of the Chinese multinational conglomerate HNA Group, has announced a series of hi-tech and intelligent products and services to help facilitate development of the traditional cargo and aviation industry.

The products are based on the company’s quantum intelligence, covering advanced manufacturing, intelligent robotics and smart service platform, according to Cheng Zhi, marketing director of HNA Technology Quantum Intelligence.

In the advanced manufacturing sector, the company has announced research and development of unmanned cargo ships and cloud computing logistics service.

“The traditional cargo shipping industry needs to be upgraded by intelligent technology, big data and cloud computing,” said Cheng.

The HNA Technology has already worked with several industrial operators including China Classification Society, American Bureau of Shipping and China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, to set up an unmanned cargo ship development Alliance.

The alliance will carry out unmanned cargo transport and related technology research, establish the industrial standard, promote the revision of the regulations and provide assessment, verification and inspection services for the industry.

In the intelligent robotics area, HNA Technology has developed robotics and smart systems to help clean planes, airports and cargo ships.

“Our terminal products and service will be used in aviation, property, hotels, logistics, airports and finance sectors, provide strong technological supports to advanced manufacturing and information technology solutions,” said Cheng.

“We want to build a technology focused eco-system to enable innovation acceleration,” said Cheng.
