Panzhihua and Wuxi governors exchange ideas on city construction

Li Jianqin, Party secretary of Panzhihua city, southwest China's Sichuan province, led a delegation with the mayor of Panzhihua Wang Bo and visited Wuxi on Dec 14-15.

Accompanied by Wang Quan, mayor of Wuxi, and Chen Jin Hu, Party secretary of Jiangyin, Li Xiaomin, Party secretary of Wuxi, welcomed the delegation and briefly introduced Wuxi's economic and social development.

Li Xiaomin said, "Panzhihua has rich natural resources, regional advantages, pleasant climate and environment, contributing to the city's development of characteristic industries and ecological civilization."

"Wuxi will learn from Panzhihua's experience and promote communication and cooperation between the two cities." Li Xiaomin added.

Li Jianqin and the delegation visited Jiangyin Administrative Examination and Approval Bureau, Huaxi village, Hailan Group and Xincheng Special Steel Company in Jiangyin.

Li Jianqin spoke highly of the rural construction and industry development in Jiangyin and said, "Panzhihua government will take an active part in the construction of the communication platform with Wuxi and learn how to develop rural areas and industries from Wuxi."

"We also welcome Wuxi government to visit Panzhihua and give helpful suggestions on city construction. We can deepen cooperation on economic projects, technological innovation and talents cultivation to pursue mutual benefit," Li Jianqin added.
