Baotou of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region now boasts a total of 38 academician workstations with two added to the list on Dec 8, reports Inner Mongolia Daily.
Baotou Information Security Academician Workstation will focus on enhancing operation system security and network security technology to back the development of smart city technology and e-commerce.
The other academician workstation will facilitate the development of Baotou’s e-commerce and focus on big data monitoring. The workstation will help with predicting future economic trends.
Also, Baotou city witnessed the establishment of China Rare Earth Sulfide and Rare Earth Light Source Academician Workstation on Nov 13, targeting the upgrading of the rare earth industry.
