Changyu Group

Changyu Group, incorporated by the Yantai Changyu Winery was established by patriotic overseas Chinese Zhang Bishi (1841-1916) in 1892. It is China's first industrialized wine making company and also China and Asia's largest wine company at present.

It now has over 4,000 employees, total assets of 2.29 billion yuan ($346 million), and net assets of 1.48 billion yuan. Its produces a wide range of products including wine, brandy, champagne, healthcare wine, Chinese patent medicine, grain-made liquor, and mineral water, with an annual output capacity of 80,000 tons. The products are popular in China and exported to over 20 countries and regions like Malaysia, the United States, the Netherlands, Belgium, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
