Equipment manufacturing industry

The Equipment manufacturing industry in Inner Mongolia autonomous region covers heavy-duty vehicles, engineering equipment centers, as well as wind-power, railway, and oil equipment. It can produce 50,000 heavy-duty vehicles, 150,000 passenger vehicles, 4,000 railway cars and 7,000 wind power generators annually. 

Production of new energy vehicles has begun along with televisions and cell phones.
