Two Ordos tourism projects win national recognition

Two Ordos tourism projects received national recognition by being included on a list to honor outstanding tourism projects at the 2017 National Tourism Investment Promotion Conference held in May.

The list was revealed by China National Tourism Administration and 12 banks, with the aim of selecting outstanding tourism projects for investment.

The two projects are the health center and agricultural park in Bulonghu Hot Spring Resort, Otog Banner, and the North City project featuring moviemaking in Ejin Horoo Banner.

A total of 680 tourism projects were selected as priorities for investment and development, with estimated investment of 843.3 billion yuan ($127.48 billion).

The national tourism bureau will launch preferential policies to develop the projects included on the list, and will make more recommendations for the projects on various platforms.

Preferential loans will also be made available by banks for the tourism projects.
