Yili Dairy Science Technology Demonstration Park

Yili Dairy Science Technology Demonstration Park is located atJinchuan district, Hohhot, and comprises eastern and western sections. Occupying 1 square kilometer, the eastern part is the major area for plants with departments for cold drinks, milk powder, liquid milk and raw milk. In 2005, a highly automated liquid milk production base was built to process as much as 2,000 tons of raw milk a day. As a national 4A grade scenic site, the park also has a diary culture museum, a liquid milk production base, model plants for production of milk powder and a milk source base. Visitors can get a close look at the advanced production processes and workers’ skills in the workshops.
