Industrial-chic architecture catches the eye

The Architectural Hall, which has a distinctly industrial feel, attracts the attention of passersby at Inner Mongolia University of Technology (IMUT) in Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The red brick building, originally established in 1968, was formally a foundry. It won the Arcasia Awards for Architecture (AAA), a prestigious award to encourage and recognize exemplary work by architects from Asia in 2017. [Photo/Xinhua]
