Pingtan, an experimental zone open for cross-Straits cooperation, has being forging ahead to become a center for international exhibitions and conferences over the past few years.

The authorities make great effort to introduce Taiwan exhibition enterprises to hold various forms of meetings, exhibitions, performances and festivals.

By 2020, the zone aims to hold an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters and more than 500 annual meetings. The convention and exhibition industry is estimated to generate a 20 billion yuan in 2020.
