Tumd Right Banner troupe wins recognition

Ulan Muqir of Tumd Right Banner in 1977. Ulan Muqir literally translates as “red burgeon” in the Mongolian language, and refers to an art troupe. Founded six decades ago, the troupe gives performances which are original and mainly focus on the lives of herdsmen. Founded in 1970, Ulan Muqir troupe originally had 10 members. [Photo/Baotou Daily]
