The China (Wuxi) Teenager Cheerleading Classic was held at the Wuxi Sports Center stadium from Dec 1 to 3.
Sponsored by the Gymnastic Administration Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the match featured over 2,400 athletes from 95 locations nationwide, including Beijing, Shanghai, Fujian province and Jiangsu province.

The opening ceremony started with a parent-child cheerleading performance made up of 400 parents and their children, which showed real family teamwork.
For the first time cheerleaders for the cheerleaders were positioned in the stands and used creative items to encourage their favorite athletes.
The teenager-oriented cheerleading match attracted teams of all ages, including ones from Dongnan University, East China Normal University, Wuxi Lianyuanjie primary school and Zhenjiang Hejianong kindergarten.
The match was launched especially for teenager cheerleading teams, but younger athletes took part. They were all full of youth, vigor, passion and dreams. [Photo/jschina.com.cn]
