Shanghai Baoshan City Industrial Park

Shanghai Baoshan City Industrial Park, with a planning area of 5.4 square kilometers, is a comprehensive city-level industrial park approved by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. The industrial park is located at urban-rural integration region, with the outer ring to the east, Putuo District to the south, Jiading District to the west and Yunzao Creek to the north. The favorable location enables it to be the city-level industrial park closest to the downtown.

Development Situation

The high-quality water used in the industrial park comes from the Yangtze River. Gas is supplied by Shanghai Gas Company. Waste water is discharged by distributary method into the general waste water pipeline of Shanghai western region. The rainfall is discharged into rivers that include the Yunzao Creek and Xincuopu River. Road piping is constructed as planned. The park also include a 35,000 volt substation and a telephone station with the installed capacity of 100,000 lines.

The major industries in the park are: disc and other IT-related industries, electronics, semiconductors and related industries, new material and nanometer technology, automobile parts and related industries and electromechanical and machinery industries.
