Industry and architecture in 2016

The total industrial added value in 2016 amounted to 70.1 billion yuan ($10.61 billion), an increase of 7.1 percent from 2015. The added value above state designated scale was 61.6 billion yuan, an increase of 7.3 percent. In 2016, the sales rate of industrial products above state designated scale was 98.2 percent.

Of these 35 industries that are involved in the industries above a designated scale,the industries whose added value rank among the top five and their rate of growth are as follows: the industrial added value of non-ferrous metals mining and dressing industry was 25.2 billion yuan, an increase of 9.9% from 2015; the industrial added value of non-ferrous metals smelting and rolling industry was 6.7 billion yuan, an increase of 12.1 percent from 2015; the industrial added value of manufacturing of non-metallic mineral products was 5.509 billion yuan, an increase of 6.8 percent; the industrial added value of manufacturing of chemical raw materials and chemical products was 2.9 billion yuan, an increase of 6.4 percent; the industrial added value of production and distribution industry of electricity and heat was 2.7 billion yuan, an increase of 2.7 percent.

High and new technology industry and highly growing industry take the lead in growing and developing. In 2016, the industrial added value of high and new technology industry in the city reached 10.5 billion yuan, an increase of 9.3 percent from 2015; the industrial added value of highly growing industry, including electronic information industry, equipment manufacturing industry, automobile and parts industry, food industry, home furnishing industry and clothing industry, was 9.2 billion yuan, an increase of 13.1 percent.         

Of all the major industrial products in the city, the products whose output has increased over the year accounted for 67 percent. They are as follows: the output of lithium ion battery with an increase of 45.2 times; the output of electrolytic copper with an increase of 2.5 times; the output of sulfuric acid with an increase of 125.4 percent; the output of silver with an increase of 59.8 percent; the output of soft drinks with increase of 20.3 percent; the output of methanol with an increase of 18.9 percent; the output of grinding apparatus with an increase of 16.4 percent; the output of lead with an increase of 15.4 percent; the output of Chinese white spirit with an increase of 9.2 percent; the output of grinding material with an increase of 8.6 percent; the output of refractory products with an increase of 8.2 percent; the output of auto spare parts with an increase of 5.8 percent; the output of aluminum oxide with an increase of 5.3 percent; the output of converted cars with an increase of 4.2 percent; the output of cement with an increase of 0.7 percent. The products whose output has decreased over the years are as follows: the output of gold with a decrease of 30.3 percent; the output of electrolytic aluminum with a decrease of 18.8 percent; the output of raw coal with a decrease of 17.6 percent; the output of aluminum products with a decrease of two percent; the output of measuring instrument with a decrease of 0.7 percent.

The main business revenue of industrial enterprises above designated size in the city in 2016 reached 369.6 billion yuan, an increase of six percent from 2015. The total profit reached 21.1 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.2 percent. Industries whose main business revenue exceeded 10 billion yuan are as follows: the main business revenue of non-ferrous metals mining and dressing industry with 144.7 billion yuan, an increase of 15.5 percent; the main business revenue of non-ferrous metals smelting and rolling industry with 81.6 billion yuan, an increase of 3.5 percent; the main business revenue of coal mining and dressing industry with 31.8 billion yuan, a decrease of 8.9 percent; the main business revenue of manufacturing of non-metallic mineral products with 21.9 billion yuan, an increase of 5.3 percent; the main business revenue of manufacturing of chemical raw material and chemical products with 17.8 billion yuan, an increase of 7.5 percent. 

The main business revenue of industrial enterprises above designated size in the industry cluster district in 2016 reached 195.9 billion yuan, an increase of 4.5 percent from 2015; the total profit of industrial enterprises above designated size in the industry cluster district reached 7.3 billion yuan, an increase of 10 percent from 2015. 

The added value of the architectural industry in the city in 2016 was 7.3 billion yuan, an increase of 10 percent from 2015.
