An auto exhibition, drag racing, obstacle race, and auto drift contest as well as other speed events will make the Nov 30-Dec 4 Zhuhai International Automobile Cultural Festival one of the most exciting such carnivals of the year.
Zhuhai's local autocross carnival, which is being held for the second time, has been upgraded to encompass an autocross challenge and campsite for recreational vehicles from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. More than 80 vehicles and 180 applicants have signed up for the events so far.
The first Chinese professional and standard Fast4ward linear speed race is the opener of the 2018-season series. The contest, certified by the China Autosport & Motorsport Federation of the General Administration of Sports, has been popular in Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, and Shenyang, so far attracting 3,000 drivers and tens of thousands of spectators.
Accommodating the larger-scale events will be the Zhuhai International Airshow Center with an indoor exhibition area of 25,000 sq m and even broader outfields -- the largest being 200,000 sq m. According to the organizing committee, improvements have been made to ensure an indoor static display, exchanges on refitting cars, and many kinds of races such as the D1 Grand Prix.

A spokesperson from Fast4ward said the Zhuhai International Airshow Center is an optimal choice for drag racing with its improved and complete facilities. What's more Zhuhai has extensive experience in hosting auto racing events and is adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao where they can promote motorsport culture in the Greater Bay Area. The organizers are also optimistic about cooperation with Air Show Center Co Ltd.
