Yangzhou Guangling Economic Development Zone

Guangling Economic Development Zone (广陵经济开发区) is located at the eastern entrance of Yangzhou and borders on Liaojiagou — a national first-grade ecological preservation area — in the east, and the Golden Channel of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in the west.

Covering a development area of 20 square kilometers, the zone has three functional businesses: an industrial processing area, a commercial trade and logistics area and a riverside living area. It focuses on three leading industries: refined machinery, automobile accessories and hydraulic equipment.

The zone joined with VDMA, a German engineering industry association, to build China-Deutschland Mittel Stand Park (MSP). Three enterprises — Guangling, Guojing Company and CCIEE — also collaborated to build a China-Europe Guojing High-Tech Industrial Park.

The zone is equipped with sound infrastructure. Since its establishment, more than 300 enterprises from home and abroad have settled there; they include the MARCEGAGLIA Group from Italy, HYVA Group from Netherlands, Mingfa Commercial Group from Hong Kong, Germany’s ARGO-HYTOS, Italy’s MevisSpa, SANY Group, Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology Co, and Kalinuo Hydraulic Pressure.
