In 2016, the city's GDP reached 444.94 billion yuan with a comparable price increase of 9.4 percentage points and the per capita GDP reaching $14,927. The public budget revenue is up to 34.53 billion yuan. The per capita disposable income of urban residents and rural residents have reached 35,659 and 18,058 yuan respectively, increasing 8.2 and 8.7 percentage points respectively than the previous year. The total volume of social retail goods reached 135.88 billion yuan, 9.9 percent higher than the previous year.
