Covering 25,000 square meters and combining science, education and tourism, SAC (Shenyang Aircraft Corporation) Aviation Expo Park was listed as a national 4A tourist attraction in 2004.

The park houses a large-scale professional exhibition hall bringing aviation history and the story of China's development of the fighter plane to visitors. Outside the exhibition hall is a public square for leisure and an exhibition area hosting genuine fighter planes. The main exhibition hall covers more than 4,600 square meters and is divided into seven parts. There are more than 1,000 precious historic pictures, over 500 aviation artifacts, aviation experience projects and demonstration equipment exhibited in the hall. 

The park is built for patriotic education, the popularization of aviation knowledge and education in national defense.
