The Eighth China-Italy Science, Technology & Innovation Week (Guiyang Session) was held in Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou province on Nov 17.
Some 200 guests, 70 enterprises and 700 representatives of sci-tech enterprises and institutions attended the event.
China-Italy Science, Technology & Innovation Week, designed to promote cooperation in those areas between China and Italy, has been held in each of the two countries in rotation annually since 2010, and has welcomed more than 4,100 participants. This year's event was held in Beijing, Chengdu and Guiyang.
Organized by the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Città Della Scienza and the Guiyang Municipal Government, the Guiyang session held six sub-forums themed on life science and health, big data, energy and environmental protection, the design and creativity industry, the new energy and automotive industry and traditional Chinese medicine.
Guiyang viewed the session as a platform, inviting experts and scholars, enterprises, and scientific organizations to explore the city for further communication and cooperation.
