It is the first time that for an international area to be set up at the annual event. The special zone features a total of 76 art works by 15 young artists from art institutes in New Zealand and France.
According to the organizing committee of the event, a total of seven young artists have held solo exhibitions thanks to the "Free Project", a special scheme launched by the College Students (Guangzhou) Art Exposition Organizing Committee earlier this year aiming to help young artists hold solo exhibitions.
The organizing committee also dedicated itself to promoting the event in other key cities across China and the first College Students (Shenzhen) Expo which will get underway on Jan 18 next year.
