Wuxi Grand Orient Department Store is also called Wuxi Commercial Mansion. Located in Zhongshan Road, downtown Wuxi, the department store is a landmark that has been standing for more than 40 years.

It was established in December 1969, when it was then called Dongfanghong Shopping Mall, and became the largest State-operated department store in Wuxi.

In 1988, it changed its name to Wuxi Commercial Mansion and transformed into a market-oriented department store. On September 28, 2010, it changed its name officially to Grand Orient Department Store.
