Grand Canal Culture and Tourism Expo
The first Grand Canal Culture and Tourism Expo was held in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province from May 3 to 5.
With year 2019 marking the fifth anniversary for the Grand Canal being added to the list of world heritage sites in 2014, Jiangsu decided to hold the first event in 2019 to let Jiangsu pioneer in the construction of Jiangsu section of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt in China.
The expo was expected to integrate the development of culture and tourism and become a brand with great influence for cultural tourism.
