Strategic emerging industries

The strategic emerging industries in Zhejiang have become an important strength to support province's industrial development since 2017.

In the first half of 2017, the added value of strategic emerging industries was 203.2 billion yuan ($60.7 billion), a year-on-year increase of 10.1 percent, and the growth rate is 2.4 percent larger than that of industrial enterprises with an annual industrial output value above 20 million yuan.

The investment in Zhejiang's strategic emerging industries in the first half of 2017 was 140.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 10.9 percent and the growth rate was 3 percent higher than that of last year.
