Harbin Beer Group Co (哈尔滨啤酒集团有限公司), founded in 1900, was the country's first beer brand. As one of the largest producers in China, Harbin Beer Group Co has 13 subordinate companies that produce and sell 1.5 million kiloliters of beer each year, occupying market share of 66 percent in Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang province, and 5 percent of the national market. The beer is also sold to more than 30 countries around the world, such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Russia, Japan and Singapore. The group keeps developing at high speed thanks to its efficient brand management and marketing strategy. In the past few years, with its management and resource integration capabilities, the group purchased 12 beer companies and achieved expansion at low cost.
