Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone was selected as a development zone of high investment value at the China Development Zones Investment Promotion Conference’s fourth session in Beijing on Nov 10, reports Baotou Daily.
Approved by the State Council in 1992, Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone is the only one of China’s 53 national high-tech zones dedicated to the rare earth industry, and is the only national level high-tech zone in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
The district attracted 100 projects worth 50.09 billion yuan ($7.56 billion) over the first 10 months of 2017.
