Xiamen-based Taikoo Aircraft Engineering signed a framework agreement to train talents in partnership with the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), Xiamen Daily reported on Oct 25.
According to the agreement, as a maintenance and training institution for civil aircrafts approved by three world leading aviation agencies, the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong, and the European Aviation Safety Agency, Taikoo has become COMAC's most important training base for aviation talents.
Taikoo will make full use of its rich training resources and experience in the aviation industry to provide a series of theory and internship trainings related to civil aviation for COMAC's talents at all levels, said a spokesperson for Taikoo.
In order to satisfy the growing demand for technical training required for repairing civil aircraft, Taikoo will help COMAC establish a civil craft maintenance and training system, develop facilities for aircraft maintenance skills training, and foster training instructors of aircraft maintenance technology.
