Chaoyangchuan International Airport promotes Yanbian's economy

The Chaoyangchuan International Airport in Yanji in Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture makes its mission to serve national strategy, Yanbian's economy development and domestic and overseas tourists, improving the service quality and to be the window of Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture.

International passenger throughput of Yanbian Chaoyangchuan International Airport is approaching 50 percent last year. The quick development promotes trade and culture communication and cooperation between Yanji city and China's nearby countries in Northeast Asia.

"I have studied Chinese in Yanbian University for six years. It's amazing here. Although Yanji is not a large city, it's extremely clean," a Russian student said. A Korean visitor said, "In the past, I flied from Shenyang to Korea. Now I can directly fly to Korea from Yanji, it is very convenient."

In 2002, there were just two flights every week from Yanji to Korea. Now, there are 10 flights, has carried 150,000 trips.

In the future, Yanbian Chaoyangchuan International Airport will be the tourism hinterland in Northeast Asia attracting more tourists and promoting Yanbian's economy.
