Businesspeople in Guangzhou who need to take frequent business trips to Hong Kong and Macao will find it more convenient to complete their journeys thanks to a new registration system at the entry and exit administration office of the Guangzhou public security bureau.
The office announced on Nov 13 that the new system will be rolled out recently, hopefully cutting the review time for business affairs registration from 20 to 15 days.
The new system will use big data technology that can share the taxation information of companies, social insurance information and residence permit information for business travellers with other government departments online.
The whole process for registration is paperless and business travellers can check the review status in real time and download or print the registration certificate when it's done.
The entry and exit administration office of the Guangzhou public security bureau has rolled out the business affairs registration system in 2009 and the platform has benefitted more than 40,000 business travelers from 14,330 companies whose business has expanded to Hong Kong and Macao.
