Baotou students win top prize in national robot competition

A team from Baotou Light Industry Vocational Technical College took first place in two events during a national-level robot competition which began in Beijing on Nov 11, reports Baotou Daily.

The team, which stood out in the qualification trials held at Inner Mongolia Normal University on Oct 27, consisted of 10 students and through their school represented the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Some 1,700 students from 94 universities and colleges, including Peking University and Tsinghua University, took part in the finals.
