Inner Mongolia’s first high-speed rail makes progress

With the last girder safely put in place in Zhangjiakou, Hebei province on Nov 15, the erection of girders for Zhangjiakou-Hohhot high-speed railway was fully completed, laying foundations for track laying and the railway’s opening on schedule. With an overall length of 286.8 kilometers, Zhangjiakou-Hohhot high-speed railway is the first high-speed railway in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and can travel up to 250 kilometers per hour.
