A special exhibition featuring a total of 60 antique film projectors flickered to life at Guangzhou Xinhai Revolution Museum on Nov 14, with a running time of until Feb 25 next year.
The exhibition is a supporting event for the ongoing 13th China International Children's Film Festival taking place in Guangzhou and is free for all visitors.

Most of the exhibits come from private collectors and a particular highlighted exhibit is the film projector which was invented by the French film pioneer Auguste Lumiere in 1896. The device premiered for just one day in Guangzhou, garnering rave reviews from critics.
The producer of the exhibition will also arrange a series of activities including assembling model film projectors and watching children's movies.
