Tianjin Port Holdings recently announced the names of four new candidates for board director.
The candidates are Liang Yongcen, Ma Quansheng, Liu Qingshun and Zhang Fenglu.
According to the announcement, Liang has many years' experience in business and government departments.
He once served as the deputy general manager, general manager, and Party chief of Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (Group), as well as deputy Party chief and head of Tianjin's Hongqiao district; currently he is the deputy Party chief and president of Tianjin Port (Group), the parent company of Tianjin Port Holdings.
Ma Quansheng and Liu Qingshun have long been engaged in containers, bulk cargo and logistics management. Zhang Fenglu is the head of the financial department of Tianjin Port (Group).
The company's adjustment of its board directors is expected to improve its competitiveness in horizontal competition.
The port hopes to better participate in the Belt and Road Initiative, become an international shipping hub in North China and make greater contribution to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development plan under the new leadership.
