Juntong also paid a visit to the second phase of Xiamen Software Park and Xiamen City Planning Exhibition.
After learning about the registration standards and preferential talent attraction policies in the park, and the development of Meiya Pico, a hi-tech enterprise registered in the park, the Thai deputy PM spoke highly of the park planning and the achievements of the company.
At the Xiamen City Planning Exhibition, Prajin was briefed on the city's achievements in smart city construction and learned about the experiences in waste disposal.
Before the Thai delegation left Xiamen, Li Xiaoping, head of the city's foreign and overseas Chinese affairs office, presented a photo album recording moments from the delegation's stay in Xiamen.
Juntong expressed his gratitude for the warm reception he experienced in Xiamen, as Thailand's PM Prayut Chan-O-Cha had done during the BRICS Summit held in September. He noted that Prime Minister Prayut had called for closer ties with Xiamen after his return to Thailand.
Prajin commented that during his stay in Xiamen, he felt that Xiamen was a city brimming with innovation and warmth. He said his country could learn from Xiamen's city planning, industrial development and environmental protection.
