Passengers can now fly from Ordos in Inner Mongolia autonomous region via Zhengzhou city, Henan province to Sanya city in Hainan province, according to an announcement made by the Ordos International Airport on Oct 31.
Operated by China Southern Airlines, the flight from Ordos to Sanya is scheduled on every Monday, Thursday and Saturday. The flight number is CZ6430/29.
The flight takes off at 18:25 from Ordos and arrives in Zhengzhou at 19:35; at 20:40, the flight departs from Zhengzhou and arrives in Sanya at 23:55.
The return flight is at 11:50 from Sanya and arrives in Zhengzhou at 15:00; at 16:00, the flight departs from Zhengzhou and arrives in Ordos at 17:40.
The Ordos International airport plans to add extra flights to Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand from November. The flight to Nha Trang in Vietnam from Ordos will be opened in late November.
New airlines to Shengzhen and Hangzhou will also be operated.
