A primary school in Yuquan district, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region held a dumpling-making activity on Nov 7 to mark Lidong –– the start of winter. The traditional Chinese lunar calendar divides the year into 24 solar terms. Lidong, the 19th solar term of the year, begins on Nov 7 this year and ends on Nov 22.
