First School of Propaganda in the New Era unveils its nameplate

Jilin province has unveiled the nameplate of the first "School of Propaganda in the New Era" to help its people better understand the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC.

The school faces the task of propagating theories regarding policies, laws, science and technology and culture.

Similar schools are being built in places throughout Jilin and at all levels, including enterprises, rural areas, campuses and communities. Besides the five main tasks, schools in rural areas will also focus on poverty alleviation.

At present, the province is holding activities to promote the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress.

The province hopes that through these school-based activities the spirit can be fully understood and implemented by the people.

The nameplates of these schools will be unveiled successively.

The province will support the construction of the schools in term of human resources, materials, finance, and related areas to ensure that all of them can run effectively.

Schools of propaganda in Jilin date back to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). In the new era, the schools will play a new and more important role in motivating people to work hard for a better life, for a better Jilin and for the Chinese Dream.
