Baotou software park records growth in patent applications

Inner Mongolia (Baotou) Software Park recorded extraordinary growth in the number of applications for patents during 2017, with 56 patents filed during 2017, according to a Nov 5 Baotou Daily report.
A total of 420 patents have been filed this year.
The software park, located in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has been encouraging scientific and technological innovation and attracting tech-based companies to settle in the park thanks to the preferential policies it offers.
