More than 50 college students from Inner Mongolia University (IMU) participated in a cultural activity where they had the opportunity to sample traditional Mongolian food at No 4 Middle School in Hohhot on Nov 5.
Students of different ethnic groups experienced making the traditional pastries and milk tea of the Mongolian ethnic group, helping them develop a deeper understanding of traditional Mongolian cuisine.
The activity is part of a featured cultural project of IMU, which aims to promote the intangible cultural heritage of the Mongolian ethnic group. In 2016, the project was officially selected as a practical project by the National Educational Alliance of University and College Museums.
