Eight performances featuring world famous musicians will be staged in Guangzhou from Dec 3 to 10 during the 2017 Guangzhou Jazz Festival, according to xkb.com.cn on Nov 4.
This will be the third edition of the annual music festival, which this year will overlap with the 2017 Fortune Global Forum that will be held in Guangzhou between Dec 6 and 8.

The festival will be held at the Guangdong Xinghai Concert Hall. Highlights of the event will include performances by Patti Austin, an American jazz singer whose album Avant Gershwin won the best jazz vocal at the Grammy Awards in 2008, Li Xiaochuan, China's most popular jazz trumpeter and composer and Guangzhou-based band Project Ace.
During the festival, a wide range of jazz-themed activities will be held in many parts of Guangzhou, which will get more people involved in the eight-day music carnival.
