The new gallery hall of Fangong Palace in Lingshan Scenic Spot, Wuxi will be officially opened to the public on Nov 15.

Combining the best of tradition and new technology, Fangong Palace amazed domestic and foreign visitors. However, a fire badly damaged parts of the building last year, destroying a number of contemporary exquisite Buddhist artworks.

More than 2,000 workers and artists have devoted themselves to rebuilding the ruins, aiming at showing its magnificence again.

The new gallery hall has been open on a trial basis since Nov 5, with a full opening scheduled for next week.
